Cozzi Recycling is Hiring a Machine Maintenance Technician (FT) Near Bellwood, IL
- Inspect machines to diagnose defects and determine required repairs;
- Dismantle and reassemble machines;
- Ability to work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery (minor repairs, lights, replacement hydraulic hoses);
- Ability to read torque specs and use torque wrenches;
- Ability to perform work safely;
- Maintain and secure work tools;
- Clean and maintain the work area.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required;
- Ability to stand for up to 6 hours at a time and lift to 50 pounds required;
- Welding and torch experience is a plus!
